It happened last night
Police say they are conducting enquiries, after a meeting of Derry City and Strabane District Council last night was disrupted by pro-Palestinian protestors.
A large banner was held up in the chamber calling for the expulsion of the Israeli Ambassador.
Mayor Patrica Logue asked some protestors - who had covered their faces - to take down their masks "in the interests of openness".
Some unionist councillors have condemned the protest as anti-Semitic.
The meeting was suspended early.
A PSNI statement said, “Police are aware of an online video of a verbal altercation at a meeting in the Guildhall in Derry/Londonderry today, Wednesday 22 November. Enquiries are ongoing.”
