Pensioner treated for cut on head after Belfast burglary
A woman in her 70s was treated for a cut on the head after an aggravated burglary in west Belfast.
It was reported that two men had made their way into a house on the Springfield Road at around 2am on Sunday.
One of the men was allegedly armed with a screwdriver.
The pensioner heard them enter though and blocked them from making further progress, before the men left empty handed.
The woman was treated for shock by ambulance staff and for the wound on her head.
