Two men arrested on suspicion of murdering a Co Down dad of four have been released without charge.

William "Pat'' McCormick was last seen walking along Castle Street in Comber around 10.45pm on May 30.

Police believe the 55-year-old was murdered.

Detectives from the PSNI's major investigation team detained a 20-year-old man in Moneyreagh and a 32-year-old man in Ballygowan on Friday.

They were later released on bail pending further police inquiries.

Searches were also carried out in Moneyreagh and Ballygowan on Friday, involving officers using specialist victim recovery dogs and an underwater team.
