A Co Armagh pensioner is celebrating her 100th birthday on Wednesday in Portadown.

May May, a resident of Rosemount Care Home in the town, is also one the oldest Covid survivors in the UK.

In April 2020, she fell ill with the virus but after just a few weeks she was back on her feet again.

Posing proudly with her birthday balloons and card from the Queen, our reporter James Gould asked May what was her secret for getting to 100?

She hilariously replied, much to the delight of the Care Home staff and her family: "Minding your own business!"

May plans to spend today eating cake but "not too much" and having a glass of whiskey with her family.
