Thousands took to the polls across Northern Ireland on Thursday for the NI Assembly Election.

The official overall turnout figure has been confirmed as 63.61%, down from 64.8% in the 2017 Assembly Election.

The counting process started at 8am yesterday at three centres in Belfast, Jordanstown and Magherafelt. Counting continues in all three centres today.

Gary Middleton wins the final seat in Foyle for DUP.
Counting has finished with all 90 MLAs elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly.
