Missing person Gavin McGuinness has been located safe and well.

Police said they were becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 39-year-old Gavin McGuinness.

Officers said Gavin was last seen shortly after 6.30am today, (Sunday 25th May), at the junction of Little George's Street and North Queen Street in north Belfast.

He is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 in height, with dark hair and a beard and was wearing a navy blue Antrim GAA top, dark tracksuit bottoms and black and white trainers.

PSNI said: "Missing person Gavin McGuinness has been located safe and well. "
