Last updated 20th Jun 2021
Nominations are now open for the latest DUP leadership contest.
It comes after Edwin Poots announced his resignation after just 3 weeks in the job.
He’s standing down after a party backlash, stemming from an agreement with Westminster and Sinn Fein on Irish Language legislation.
Party officers have set a date of Saturday the 26th of June to elect a new leader.
Anyone who want to be in the running will have to stand forward by midday on Tuesday.
Newly appointed First Minister Paul Givan - who was elected by Mr.Poots - has been told he'll be expected to resign as part of the leadership transition.
