No new Covid deaths recorded in NI for third consecutive day

According to the Office for National Statistics about one in 16 in Northern Ireland are likely to have had Covid-19 over the festive period.

The Department of Health has recorded no more Covid-related deaths in Northern Ireland for the third day in a row.

It means the total death toll remains 2107.

181 more people tested positive for the virus out of 2947 tests.

There are 143 Covid-positive patients in hospital, 13 in ICU.
