NI's top hotelier remembered

A memorial service for Sir William Hastings who died before Christmas has taken place in Belfast.

The entrepreneur passed away from a short illness on December 15 aged 89.

Mr Hastings established the Hastings Hotel Group which now owns six hotels across Northern Ireland.

The memorial service in Saint Anne's Cathedral in Belfast was attended by many famous faces from Northern Ireland on Friday afternoon.

Former First Minister Arlene Foster alongside a number of other politicians were in attendance as well as Van Morrison.
