Man suffers head injury in County Antrim assault

Police are investigating the report of an assault in Newtownabbey.

Just after 4 o'clock on Saturday morning a man was assaulted by six men in the Glenvarna Drive area - with one reportedly armed with a baseball bat.

The victim - aged in his 30s - was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
