Man shot in stomach in County Armagh
Emergency services were called to the Gullion View area of Meigh early this morning
A man has been shot in the stomach in an attack in County Armagh.
Shots were fired at a house in the Gullion View area of Meigh in the early hours of Saturday morning.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Two women and another man were also in the house at the time and were left shaken but uninjured.
Detective Sargeant Stewart from Police Service of Northern Ireland said:
“Damage was also caused to a kitchen window.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with any information which could assist with police enquiries is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 119 16/09/23.
“Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
