Man questioned over Matthew Bradley death bailed

The 22-year-old man arrested over a suspected hit-and-run incident in Liverpool that killed a Glenavy man has been bailed.

The man was detained in the Vauxhall area of the city on Tuesday and was conditionally bailed to a date in December.

Matthew Bradley, a 24-year-old originally from Glenavy, was struck by a car on the Strand near the city's Hilton hotel last Friday night and later died in hospital of his injuries.

It is believed he had been visiting the city with friends and had been enjoying a night out when the collision occurred.
