Man attacked with hammer in north Belfast
A man in his thirties has been assaulted during a burglary in the Forthriver Crescent area of the city.

He was attacked as he answered the door of his home around 7.30 on Saturday morning.
He suffered head injuries in the incident and was further attacked inside the property.
His injuries are not life threatening.
Detective Constable Arnott said:
"We would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information that could help with our investigation to contact us at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 345 of 1/7/17.
“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
