Man released after County Down drugs seizure

A 44-year old man who was arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs-related offences has been released on bail.

He was arrested on Thursday evening after suspected drugs worth an estimated street value of £18,000 were seized in Millisle.

He was later released on bail.

The find was uncovered in the Park Crescent area on Thursday afternoon.

Chief Inspector Gerry McGrath said: “During a planned search conducted by Bangor District Support Team, officers also seized a number of associated drugs paraphernalia, including scales, along with a quantity of cash."
