Man (39) charged with Carter Carson hit and run death in Tenerife
A 39 year old Latvian man appeared in court in Tenerife yesterday and was remanded into custody.

A man has been charged over the death of Carter Carson in Tenerife.
The nine year old from Newtownabbey was killed in a hit and run in the town of Adeje last Thursday and passed away in hospital the next day.
Yesterday evening a judge on the Spanish island remanded a 39 year old man from Latvia into custody. He's accused of causing death by negligence and failing to stop to assist the boy at the scene.
A second Latvian man, who's 34, has been released on bail but will also stand trial for not stopping and helping the the young boy at the scene.
Yesterday a book of condolence was opened at Abbotts Cross Primary, where Carter was a P5 pupil.
Over £13,000 has been raised for the family via the crowd-funding site Just Giving.
