Litter of puppies found abandoned in Co Tyrone
Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre for Dogs shared the heartbreaking news yesterday that a litter of puppies were found abandoned on the side of the road.
Writing a post on social media alongside a picture of the puppies, a spokesperson wrote:”Four pups believed to be aged between eight and 10 weeks were rescued by a member of the public who found them discarded in a box at Stewartstown on Coalisland Road.”
Believed to be a Collie/Husky mix there were three females pups and one male found.
They are the fourth abandoned litter to be taken in by Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre for Dogs in Stewartstown, Co Tyrone.
The pups will be health checked and cared for until they are suitable to be placed for adoption with new homes.
The post on social media continues: “This is the forth litter over the festive period and as you know the cost of electric, food to keep these wee guys going is very expensive. We appreciate any help that you can afford.”
