In Pictures: St Patrick's Day Celebrations 2024

Thousands of locals and tourists lined Belfast City Centre today for the annual St Patrick's Day parade in Belfast city centre.

The SPAR Craic 10k road race kick off celebrations this morning, before the main parade began at 1.30pm.

The parade started at Belfast City Hall and travelled along along Chichester Street, Victoria Street, High Street, Castle Place and Donegall Place, before returning to its starting point.

Here thousands enjoyed dazzling displays of costume, music, dance and theatrical performances.

A number of parades and other events took place this weekend across Northern Ireland including Derry, Downpatrick, Armagh, and Enniskillen.
