Tonight the horn at Harland and Wolff shipyard will ring out properly for the first time in 20 years.

Workers will sound the siren for one minute at 8pm, in honour of NHS workers and other frontline staff dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic.

It’s the same time the weekly ‘clap for carers’ is due to take place.

The siren is the loudest in Belfast, and will be heard all across the city.
