Funeral of murdered Fermanagh woman to take place today
The funeral of Concepta Leonard will take place in Brookeborough later this morning.
The 51 year old was found dead in her County Fermanagh home on Monday, after an apparent murder-suicide.
It's thought she was stabbed by her ex partner Paedar Phair.
Her son Conor - who is in his 30s and has Down's Syndrome - was also found at the scene with stab wounds to his stomach. He was injured while trying to protect his mum during the attack in the house on Abbey Road in Maguiresbridge.
Conor has since been released from hospital and it's understood he wants to help carry the coffin today.
Connie's funeral service is being held at 11am at St Mary's Church, Brookeborough. She will be buried afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
