Elderly couple robbed of cash during scam in Ards

A large amount of money has been stolen from an elderly couple in Ards.
Scammers called at their house in the Glen Estate at 12 o'clock on Tuesday - claiming to be from the Water Service.
While one man distracting the woman - another person rummaged through the house and stole a large amount of money.
Police have warned people in the area to be cautious - saying the man is described as thin with dark hair wearing a navy top and jeans.
An ambulance had to be called for the elderly woman for shock.
