Derry Girls writer Lisa McGee wins BAFTA TV Craft Award

Derry Girls writer Lisa McGee has won a BAFTA TV Craft Award.
The mind behind the hit Channel 4 series won Best Comedy Writer at last night's ceremony in London.
The awards celebrate the best behind-the-scenes television talent and come ahead of the BAFTA Television Awards which will take place on Sunday the 14th of May, celebrating on-screen talent.
The big winners of the night were This is Going to Hurt; the drama series based on writer Adam Kay’s memoir as a junior doctor, and House of the Dragon; the Game of Thrones prequel.
The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II also won two awards for Sound: Factual; and Directing Team for Director: Multi-Camera.
Other winners of the night included Bad Sisters, Strictly Come Dancing, The Tinder Swindler, and Top Boy.
