Death of teenage boy no longer being treated as murder

An 18 year old man who was being questioned over the death has been released.

Police investigating the death of a teenage boy in Castlewellan say they are no longer treating it as suspicious.

16 year old Conor Robb's body was discovered in his Newcastle Road home on Christmas Eve.

After a post-mortem examination was carried out the PSNI say they are not investigating it as a murder any more.

An 18 year old man who was being questioned about the death has been released and police say he is no longer of interest to him.

Requiem mass for Conor will be held on Friday

Friends and family have paid tribute to the teenager on social media, expressing their shock and disbelief at his death.
