Coronavirus death toll rises by eight

Department of Health statistics published today, Wednesday, show that eight covid-related deaths have occurred since 2pm yesterday.

791 more positive cases are also recorded from 4,073 people tested.

441 patients in our hospitals have the virus, 47 of whom are in Intensive Care.

It means there are 34 available ICU beds at present.
