C.S Lewis Festival arrives in Belfast

Did you know that one of the world’s best loved children’s authors, C.S Lewis was originally from Belfast?

Step inside the wardrobe and enter Narnia to celebrate the legacy of C.S. Lewis at this family friendly festival.

The creative genius behind ‘The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe’ and ’The Chronicles Of Narnia’ was born and grew up in East Belfast and to celebrate this author, the annual C.S. Lewis Festival will be taking place to recognise and celebrate his talent to the world. Now in its fourth year, the festival will take place over five days and showcase his connections to his writing and his childhood home of East Belfast.

Through a series of events and activities including talks, film, theatre, arts, crafts, readings, music, workshops, exhibitions, tours, children’s activities and spoken word events - everyone is invited to experience the magical world of C.S. Lewis.

Ticket prices range from £3 - £12 and are available at the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre.
