Body found on banks of Foyle is that of missing teen
Dean Millar had been missing since a night out last month.
Over a month after he went missing the family of Dean Millar say they are bringing his body home today.
The 18 year old disappeared on a night on in the Brandywell area of Derry on March 12th.
On Tuesday night a body was recovered from the banks of the River Foyle.
A facebook page set up to help find him says they now have official confirmation it was Dean's and funeral arrangments are being made.
In a statement the PSNI said: "The body recovered from the banks of the River Foyle on Tuesday evening (April 18th) has been confirmed as that of Dean Millar.
"Dean was last seen in the Brandywell area of the city late on Saturday 11th March and he is believed to have entered the river close to Craigavon Bridge in the early hours of Sunday 12th March."
