Leo Santa Cruz has revealed his special relationship with the Jackal.
Ahead of their long-awaited rematch showdown on the Las Vegas strip, the Mexican said there was clear mutual respect between the pair.
“We have respect between each other,” he said.
“When I see Carl Frampton I see myself.
“We will fight for our families. We are fighting for their future.”
Santa Cruz said Frampton would bring a huge support and he predicted an electric atmosphere when they two get into the ring in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“He has a great following – a great support,” he told Downtown & Cool FM.
“They will bring a great atmosphere to this fight.”
