Alleged British Army agent in IRA Freddie Scappaticci dies
The man who is suspected of once being a top army agent within the IRA has died.
Freddie Scappatici had always denied he was the agent referred to as 'Stakeknife'.
The activities of the agent have been under scrutiny from a long-running probe by retired chief constable Jon Boutcher - Mr Boutcher's investigation's findings were being prepared for a report.
Mr Scappaticci was in his 70s. He left Northern Ireland in 2003.
