Country 2 Country Dublin stars Eric Church & Chris Stapleton lead the nominations with five each.

Singers up for Entertainer of the Year, Male and Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Duo and Group were announced live on US TV by Dierks Bentley.

Album of the Year nominees were also announced by the 2016 ACM Awards co-host.

With all except Song and Songwriter of the Year announced, you’ll find some surprises and first-time nods on this list.

Brett Eldredge scored a Male Vocalist of the Year nomination, as did Chris Stapleton. The “Nobody to Blame” singer’s appreciation is no surprise, as he cleaned up at the 2015 CMA Awards.

Kelsea Ballerini and Jana Kramer in the Female Vocalist category are surprises.

Dierkes will join Luke Bryan as host for the event on April 3rd. It will be the “Drunk on a Plane” singer’s first time hosting the show, as he takes over for Blake Shelton.
