4 children escape injury in gun attack

A man and four children have escaped injury in a gun attack in Londonderry.
Two shots were fired at a house on Racecourse Drive shortly after 9.30pm last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
Sinn FĂ©in MLA Raymond McCartney has condemned the gun attack. He said:
"This attack during which shots were fired at a house in Racecourse Drive is wrong and must be condemned.
"Thankfully no one was injured in this incident but it must have been a frightening experience for those in the vicinity.
"There is no place for guns on our streets and those behind attacks need to end their war with the community."
