Highlights from the 2023 Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon
Congratulations to everyone who took part!
Thousands of participants took part in today's Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon, running the challenging 26.2 mile route.
Cool FM Breakfast's Pete Snodden and Rebecca McKinney were there at the starting line this morning at Stormont, getting the crowd pumped up before the race.
Meanwhile Downtown's Neal McClelland was waiting at the finish line at Ormeau Park, as runners completed the race.
Morroccan runner Mohammed Oumaarir was first to cross the line, in a phenomenal 2 hours 22 minutes and 56 seconds
Shewaye Woldemeskel from Ethiopia crossed the finish line in a time of 2 hours 37 minutes to take the women's title.
And victory went to Mark Millar in the wheelchair race!
