UK's biggest indoor Country Dance is coming to Belfast

The biggest event of 2017 for all country music and jiving fans was announced today at the official launch of the Farmers Bash, sponsored by Newbridge Silverware.

Country music stars Derek Ryan, Lisa McHugh and Robert Mizzell, powered by The Grassmen, who are all topping the bill of the Farmers Bash event, helped stage a hoedown at today’s launch giving a flavour of the exciting event to come. Also in attendance was Ruairi McSorley (aka Frostbit Boy) and Kirstie McMurray from Downtown Country, who along with Downtown Radio will be the broadcast media partner for this 'first of its kind' event.

Special guests also appearing at the event will be Marty Mone ‘Hit The Diff’ and country favorites Hugo Duncan and Country Harmony.

The Farmer Bash will take place on October 6, 2017 at Belfast’s prestigious SSE Arena featuring popular, high-caliber country music artists and professional production values on a thunderous purpose built stage.

This ambitious event, presented by LSFX Productions, will be the UK & Ireland’s BIGGEST EVER indoor Country Music Dance.

It’s expected to attract thousands of country music and country jiving fans from across Ireland and beyond who want to see their musical heroes perform at the country party of a lifetime.

Event spokesperson Darren Gardiner said: “The Farmers Bash promises to be the ultimate country music event to be staged in Northern Ireland. Its one massive stage, one massive dance floor and one massive party!

“We are expecting thousands of jiving and country music fans to come along to the SSE Arena on October 6 for a high-octane event of music and dancing as well as a few other surprises and special guests.

“Country music has soared in popularity in recent years and there is a huge fan base for the music, who want to come together to enjoy themselves, dancing to the music they love. The energy and excitement around this event will be something special.

“We have already had a great response to the news we are staging this family-friendly event in Belfast and we are sure tickets are going to sell out fast.”

Tickets are on sale for the Farmers Bash from 10am on Saturday 6th May priced at £28.00 and £30.00 and available from ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
