Unfortunately there are no signs of a heatwave, the weather this weekend is expected to bring a mixture of sunshine and showers.

Forecasters say temperatures in Northern Ireland will hover around 19-20C until Wednesday. By Thursday and into Friday it will feel ‘fresher’, feeling more autumnal by the end of the week.

According to the Met Office we can expect "A mixture of bright spells and a few showers on Thursday and Friday. The showers most frequent in the west but moving through quickly."

If you have any outdoor plans, Saturday is looking like the best day of the weekend.

It will be an unsettled start to Bank Holiday Monday but it should slowly turn brighter through the day.

With lots of events taking place up and down the country, there is still a good chance of catching the odd bright spell, but expect some rain too.
