This year Culture Night Belfast is going Green to join in the fight against Climate Change

Culture Night Belfast returns this weekend for its eleventh year and it's set to be the biggest yet!
One of the most exciting events in the city's social calendar returns with a jam packed schedule of free, city-wide activities taking place to celebrate culture, creativity and the arts.
Last year’s event attracted over 100,000 participants... now spanning over two days, this year promises the biggest, most open and sustainable celebration yet.
When is Culture Night happening?
For the first time ever, Culture Night will now also spill into Culture Day with events taking place right across Belfast city centre from 1pm-9pm on Friday 20th September and 10am-5pm on Saturday 21st September.
Events aimed specifically at children will end at 9pm.
What's happening?
There are over 200 free family friendly events happening over 2 days across the city, from Brilliant Trails to Bus Cabaret and Circus workshops to the musical magic of Mix the city, there's something for everyone.

The Northern Irish food & drink scene has never been a more exciting or important part of our culture & heritage. Join us at Street Feast and sample the finest home grown produce. From Pizza to Paella, Seafood to Sweet treats, Tex Mex to traditional Irish & Asian Fusion to American-style Hot Dogs there’ll be something to suit everyone. Take a seat in our picnic areas, enjoy some great food and refreshments and experience the unique atmosphere.

Getting there by foot, car, bus, glider or rail
Translink is providing Metro and Glider Nightmover services at 11.30pm, midnight, 12.30am and 1.00am on selected routes. Choose from a range of discount travel tickets like £3.00 day travel after 9.30am with a Translink dayLink card. There will also be extra capacity on Translink Metro and Glider services during Culture Day (Saturday 21st September). Visit translink.co.uk/culturenight
The Cathedral Quarter is a leisurely 10-minute walk from Belfast City Hall and a 20 minute walk from both Central (Lanyon) and Great Victoria Street Stations.
If you do need to bring your car, parking around the city will be limited with no on-street parking spaces available within the Cathedral Quarter including Donegall Street, North Street, Union Street, Kent Street, Academy Street, Exchange Street, Hill Street, Waring Street, Skipper Street, Talbot Street and Royal Avenue.
What's the weather going to be like?
At the moment the Met Office are forecasting a dry evening. You won't need a brolly but be sure to wrap up warm. Good news, the first half of Saturday is also looking dry and bright.
