Winter Circus' big top returns to Writer's Square Belfast this December

Belfast's award-winning forward thinking circus company, Tumble Circus has announced its return to Writer’s Square for a brand-new run of the hugely popular “Winter Circus” - kicking off on the 13th of December.
Winter Circus, now in its eighth successful year, will be hosted in Tumble Circus’ iconic heated big top tent in the central location of Writers’ Square, Belfast and tickets are now available.
Winter Circus has become a much-loved part of Belfast’s festive entertainment offering with many referring to its as he city’s Alternative Festive Family Show.
Winter Circus will treat visitors to a winter extravaganza unlike anything else on offer in the city, with a host of death-defying and side-splitting acts to keep the audience on the edge of their seats and rolling in the aisles!
Ken Fanning, Co-Founder of Tumble Circus said, “We’re putting together a fantastic new show for our audiences with all of the thrills, spills and incredible skills people have come to expect from Winter Circus and some new unexpected surprises you won’t see coming! We can’t wait to be back in December!”
Winter Circus shows will run between December 13th 2024 – January 01st 2025 with a very special relaxed performance hosted on Tuesday 17th December.
The relaxed show is specifically designed to welcome people of all ages living with Downs Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Condition or those with additional sensory and communication needs.
This year’s Winter Circus will also be the official kick-off for the celebrations of Tumble Circus’ 30th year as a performing circus troupe.
Co Founder of Tumble Circus, Tina Segner commented, “We can’t believe it but it’s been 30 years since myself and Ken met and established Tumble Circus! We want this year’s Winter Circus to be the first of many parties we’ll be having to celebrate this incredible milestone!
