The team behind The Stranger and Safe have reunited on their latest Netflix thriller Stay Close, an adaptation of Harlan Coben’s #1 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name.

James Nesbitt (Bloodlands, Cold Feet), Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight, Deadwater Fell), and Richard Armitage (The Stranger, The Hobbit) are confirmed in the three lead roles of Brooms, Megan and Ray.

What is Stay Close about?

With trademark thrills, gripping suspense, and a crime to solve, Stay Close questions how much you really know someone.

The series follows three people living ordinary lives, who are all concealing dark secret, that even the closest to them would never suspect.

The three individuals are Megan (Jumbo), a working mum of three; Ray (Armitage), a failed documentary photographer; and Broome (Nesbitt), a detective haunted by a missing person’s cold case.

However, when Megan’s old friend Lorraine (Parish) delivers some shocking news, all three of their lives are impacted, as their pasts return to haunt them.

When will Stay Close air?

Stay Close will be an eight-part limited series, dropping on Netflix, Friday 31st December. Your New Year’s Eve night-in is sorted!
