Chris Stapleton teams up with Ed Sheeran for new single off his collaborations album

Country legend Chris Stapleton has featured on a song with Ed Sheeran for his upcoming album, 'No.6 Collaborations Project'. Rocker Chris, who is famous for his hits 'The Devil Named Music', 'Traveller' and 'Sometimes I Cry', co-wrote 'BLOW' with Ed and RnB singer Bruno Mars, who also features on the song and produced it.
The song, which has been released today (5th July), may be a completely different style and genre for Ed, who's more well-known for his pop/hip hop music, but he's in safe hands with Chris, who has co-written six Number 1 country songs during his 18-year career.
Fans have been absolutely loving the song online, and many took to Ed's Instagram post announcing its release to express their admiration. One wrote, 'Your music is ART', whilst another added, 'Well, my mind is definitely blown after this. IT'S SO GOOD' and one other commented, 'I am SHOOOOOK. Did not expect this but damn I love it 🔥.' sic
This isn't the first time that Chris, who also appeared in hit TV show Game of Thrones during a final season episode earlier this year, has featured on a pop song - in 2018, he collaborated with Justin Timberlake on his smash hit 'Say Something'.
It was a Top 10 single in both the UK and the US, was certified Gold in the UK and even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The track also appeared on Timberlake's album, 'Man of the Woods', which peaked at Number 2 in the album charts.
Although Chris revealed in an interview with Billboard that there won't be a new album out this year, he did confirm that there would be a "record in the future, adding, "I don’t know how near or how distant that future will be."
