ACC Awards Are Postponed
The ACCA will not happen in December of this year.
Fox is postponing this year’s American Country Countdown Awards until Spring of 2016 ending the award show season early.========================================================================================================================
Last year’s show was held in Nashville on December 15th. It was called the “inaugural” event, switching its name to follow fox’s previous American Country Awards, which has aired every December since 2010. Instead of the awards Fox will air a television special on 17th December called American Country Countdowns Top 10 stories 0f 2015. This is due to be hosted by Darius Rucker and have appearances from Jason Aldean, Kix Brooks, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Little big Town, Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood. Last year’s awards saw Jason Aldean take home the top prize of artist of the year, while Luke Bryan took home Male Vocalist of the Year and Miranda Lambert was named that year’s Female Vocalist.
