The 2023 Grammy Awards are set to take place Sunday 5th February, in Los Angeles Crypto.com Arena - for the first time since the pandemic the event will be hosted indoors.

One of the biggest nights in music, stars from all genres take to the dazzling red carpet to celebrate the industry greats.

Luke Combs and Brandi Carlile will be performing on the night, alongside Kacey Musgraves who will perform a special tribute to the late Loretta Lynn.

Ahead of Sunday's event, we thought we'd take a closer look at the country nominations.

Miranda Lambert earned four nominations including best album for ‘Palomino’, Best Country Song for ‘If I Was A Cowboy’ and Best Country Solo Performance for ‘In His Arms’. Plus, the already three-time Grammy winner’s featured collaboration with Luke Combs on ‘Outrunnin’ Your Memory’ is also up for Country Duo / Group Performance.

Along with his collaboration with Lambert, Luke Combs is up for Best Country Song with ‘Doin This’ while his third record ‘Growin’ Up’ earns a nod for Best Country Album

Maren Morris also sees her third studio album ‘Humble Quest’ up for Best Country Album. The lead single ‘Circles Around This Town’ is also up for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song.

For the first time in his career, Zach Bryan earned a Grammy nomination for Best Country Solo Performance with ‘Something In The Orange’. It sits alongside ‘Heartfirst’ by Kelsea Ballerini, ‘In His Arms’ by Miranda Lambert, ‘Circles Around This Time’ by Maren Morris and ‘Live Forever’ by Willie Nelson – most of which have been featured on the Absolute Radio Country playlist during 2022.

Brandi Carlile is up for a staggering 7 awards including both Record of The Year and Song of The Year with Lucius.

Carlile, who has already won 6 Grammys, is also up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for ‘Broken Horses’. ‘You And Me On The Rock’ featuring Lucius is also up for Best Americana Performance and Best American Roots Song. Meanwhile her album ‘In These Silent Days’ receives a nod for Best Americana Album.

Taylor Swift gets a nomination for Best Country Song for ‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)’ – a song that featured on her rerecording of ‘Red (Taylor’s Verson)’. The 10 minute fan-favourite of ‘All Too Well’ is also nominated for Song of The Year.
