Country star Reba McEntire had a close brush with danger, after she was rescued from a historic building in her native Oklahoma, when a stairwell suddenly collapsed.

McEntire (66) and her boyfriend Rex Linn (64) were among a handful of people touring the building when the stairs came down, blocking all exits.

The building is reportedly over 100 years old.

"Thankfully, no one was seriously injured," she wrote on Twitter. "We were safely evacuated from the building thanks to the quick response from the Atoka fire and police departments."

According to Atoka Emergency Management Director Travis Mullins, the stairwell collapsed from the second story to the third, falling onto the stairwell from the first to the second floor, and trapping people on whatever floor they were on at the time.

Firefighters helped those inside, including McEntire and Linn, climb out through a second-story window.

One person was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
