On September 22 Luke Bryan’s ‘Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day’ tour will roll in to Houston, Texas. The concert taking place in the Cynthia Woods Pavilion will in some means help support the Houston Community Fund after the devastating force endured by the city from Hurricane Harvey last month.

More than 70 died in the tragedy while 30,000 were displaced in Texas. In addition, more than 47,000 homes damaged.

Bryan, the CMT Artist of The Year and CMA and Entertainer of the Year nominee has announced that the proceeds from next week’s concert will be donated to help the families and communities affected by the freak weather. He is also to make available a number of tickets for the first responder teams that were on alert during the hurricane.

Just this week Bryan took donations as a call centre operative for ‘Hand in Hand’, a telethon to support victims of both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Last night he performed his brand new single ‘Light it Up’ at the Grand Ole Opry, at a fundraiser event for St Jude Kids. ‘Country Cares’ helps support pediatric cancer research at the Memphis facility. Other performers included Charles Esten and Clare Bowen from the Nashville TV show, Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, Riders in the Sky and Randy Owen.

‘Light It Up’ is the lead single from Bryan’s next album, due for release before the end of the year.
