Irish country star Derek Ryan is officially engaged

Derek Ryan is officially off the market, as he broke the news he popped the question to his partner Stephanie.

The 41-year-old broke the news in a sweet selfie with his bride-to-be and her sparking ring, with the caption: ‘Here’s to forever 💍 🥂’

Fans, friends and family have been sharing their messages of congratulations to the 'Hold On To Your Hat' singer.

Fellow country star and Downtown Radio presenter Lisa McHugh said: "awww huge congratulations to you both!!! Delighted for you guys xx"

Irish country singer Cliona Hagan was equally as excited, writing: 'Congratulations guys. So happy for youse'.
