Gentry died last Friday in a freak helicopter crash in Medford, New Jersey, the duo had been booked to play in the nearby Flying W Airport and resort.

Since the crash, the duo’s record label; ‘Average Joes’ revealed that the band had been planning a brand new album for 2018 to mark their 20th anniversary together. In 2009 the guys became members of the Grand Ole Opry, which Gentry called his ‘proudest professional achievement’.
