Coronation Street cast visit injured victims of Manchester terror attack

The cast of Coronation Street have paid a visit to some of the injured victims from the Manchester Arena terror attack last month.

Actors including Jennie McAlpine, Catherine Tyldesley and Lucy Fallon made a visit to spend time with some of the younger victims of the attack at Ronald McDonald House in Manchester.

Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt in the popular soap, shared a number of photos to her Instagram page from the visit and wrote, 'My heart is so full. Thank you for having us ❤️'.

The 21-year-old later shared a touching message to her Twitter followers where she admitted the day made her realise how 'precious' life is.

Tisha Merry, who plays the role of Steph Britton in Coronation Street, also shared a number of photos from the cast's visit.

22 people lost their lives and many more were left with injuries when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in the foyer of the Manchester Arena as fans left an Ariana Grande gig on 22nd May.

Ariana Grande later returned to Manchester to put on One Love Manchester, a charity concert to raise money for the victims and their families from the fatal attack.

Ariana invited some of her star-studded music friends including Little Mix, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Take That and Niall Horan.
