Last updated 30th Jan 2024
The 2024 GRAMMY’s take place this Sunday, and as the biggest names in music prepare for a night of celebrations, we thought we’d take a closer look at the country genre nominations.
The live event will broadcast Sunday 4th February at 8pm ET on CBS & Paramount+.
2023 was the year country music returned to the top of mainstream charts - with four country songs topping the chart…
-Morgan Wallen’s 16-week No. 1 hit “Last Night,”
-Zach Bryan’s duet with Kacey Musgraves “I Remember Everything,”
-Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town,”
-Oliver Anthony viral No. 1 hit “Rich Men North of Richmond.”
Not forgetting Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” that spent eight weeks at No. 2 on the Hot 100.
Lainey Wilson won Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May, so we’re expecting big things for Wilson this weekend also.
Who is performing at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards?
