Last night was country music's night to shine. Brad and Carrie hoested for an impressive tenth year. They opened the show by dedicating it to the victims of the recent tragedies that rocked America.:

The Las Vegas and Sutherland Springs shootings, the New York City terror attack, the violence in Charlottesville, and the hurricanes that slammed into Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.

Underwood commented, '2017 has been a year marked by tragedy impacting countless lives, including so many in our country music family.'

Paisley added that to honor those affected, he and his fellow singers should "play our music loud and proud."

The opening sequence kicked off by Eric Church singing Amazing Grace, which led into a performance of 'Hold My Hand' by Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum and the rest off Country Music joining in toward the end of the tune.

Then it was time for the awards, and what a list of winners.
