Autism affects 1 in 100 people in Northern Ireland. It is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how the person makes sense of the world around them and interacts with others. The Circle of support (CoS) provide a network of care and new opportunities to children with autism and their families from parents who also have children with autism.

With the support from Cash for Kids, CoS have set up a cinema club for the families so that the children can go on autism friendly cinema trips with their families. This will help them to form friendships and develop their social and communication skills so they can interact with others easier.
