Name 'twins' met through Facebook and spent New Year together!
What a bromance!
Ever met someone with the same name as you, including your middle name?
It's probably quite unlikely, but for two guys called Sam Mitchell this actually happened.
Sam Mitchell from Tasmania found Sam Mitchell from the UK on Facebook and sent him a friendly message saying, 'You may be wondering why I have sent you a friend request. I had to because we share the same name. Middle name as well. Good day sir.'
British Sam then replied, 'Yeah, and what is stranger is that I've just moved from the UK to Australia'
The pair quickly struck up a friendship on Facebook, soon publicly exchanging messages which is where their friends got involved.
One of Aussie Sam's friends suggested getting British Sam over for New Year's Eve and guess what, they actually did it. Aussie Sam's friends chipped in to pay for British Sam's airfare from Melbourne and as soon as they met up they got on famously!
