Couple amazed to receive Christmas card addressed 'Somewhere near sea in Suffolk'
It was delivered in 4 days!
A card addressed only 'Somewhere Near The Sea in Suffolk' found its way to a delighted couple this weekend.
Antony Wren, 42, said that his former colleague wanted to send him and his wife Sarah a card at Christmas, but had lost their address.
So he decided to take a risk and send a card with a somewhat vague address...
Antony tweeted his thanks to Royal Mail and the Post Office for their efforts in delivering the card, complete with a sweet picture of him and his wife grinning at the card.
Antony received an amazing response after the tweet, with radio stations and newspapers up and down the country asking to speak to him about his story.
Earlier this year the Icelandic postal service proved that a map was just as good as an address.
