Whilst a fifth of parents have admitted they signed up to social media to check up on their kids, two thirds of kids have accepted their parents' friend request.
However 45% of kids have also said that some of their previous escapades have come back to haunt them after their parents have seen them on Facebook.
A fifth of those surveyed also admitted that they were left cringing after their parents sent their friends friend requests - are you one of them?
