A vigil will be held later to remember the victims of the Southport knife attack.
People will be able to gather outside The Atkinson on Lord Street from 6pm, to show support to all those affected by yesterday's incident.
Organiser Karlie Walker has said on social media: "I'm so heartbroken to see today unfold. I can't imagine the heartbreak of the families involved. I would like to show these families that as a community, everyone in Southport supports you.
"I'd like to suggest that tomorrow 30/07/24 at 6pm...we all gather to show our support and solidarity as a town."
Two children have died and nine more were injured, including six who are in a critical condition, following the stabbing attack.
Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said the "ferocious attack" also left two adults critically hurt after they tried to defend the children.
Police are continuing to question a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, following the attack.
On Tuesday morning flowers and teddies had been left by the police cordon on Hart Street.
One message in a "Thinking Of You" card said "thoughts and prayers" were with those affected and was signed: "Love - Southport."
Another said: "Fly high with angels little ones."
A large police cordon remained in place at the scene.
